unzip and install into C:\JAMX
then u need to copy mirc32.exe there
and it MUST be 5.4 or things wont work



IMPORTANT!

EXISTING JAMX USERS MUST DO THIS:



There is a bug which every jammer user is prone to - it allows people to send to someone (for example):
$msg(figgy, i suck)
or even
$quit(i am lame)
etc etc

To fix this problem, you can NEED to remove the following that is in alias8.jam 


  if ($query($nick) != $null) {
    .timer 1 2 chkprv $nick n $replace($1-,|,^_^|)
  }


To get to it, press ALT-R to open remotes
Press ALT-V and move the cursor to events2.jam
Now, scroll down to around line 320 or so you should see the above code
delete all of the above code ONLY, or add a ; character at the beginning of the 3 lines
like so...

This will remove part of a feature that jamx has - which shows you what some1 said if u closed a query window too quick


THE ABOVE FILE TO DOWNLOAD HAS THIS FIXED ALREADY (i think - cant be bothered checking it so if not u know the fix)


so, if u fuck up, u can always download the fixed version :)




BTW everyone is asking about the next version for 5.41 and 5.5 - well iv done a little work but my hdd died in the ass recently. i didnt lose much but one file fucked up majorly. i dont have the time to do any work on it really, but hopefuly ill get around to doing more in a few weeks

i havent had any time to work on jx so dont expect anything for some time
maybe in a few months but u can expect the next version to be pretty well made compared to the little quirks in previous versions




existing jamx users - u can install it over the top of ur old version
backup ur mirc.ini file tho so u can import ur notify list
if u added files into the run menu, backup menus.jam and copy it back over b4 u run it

apologees for the pathetic popups (some are just very wierd so dont ask), but i dont really give a damn
theres so much to do in this, so ill do the unimportant stuff later
